- Golfing
Scottsdale, Arizona has some of the best golf courses for your bachelorette weekend getaway! Mountain Shadows happens to be one of my top five favorites and it is a par 3; in the shadows of camelback mountain, with some of the most epic views. I love how their golf carts come with a little cooler filled with ice cold waters, and they also offer a “party cart” which seats four people!

One of their restaurants, Rusty’s at the Short Course, is perfect for lunch after your golf game. They feature refreshing cocktails, yummy snack options and signature lunch items. - Hiking
If you enjoy the outdoors, and you are an avid hiker, I would highly recommend hiking Camelback Mountain. A few things to note about this mountain in particular; make sure to wear close toed shoes, bring at LEAST one larger bottle of water, and please DO NOT hike this mountain hungover or you and your pals will be spending a pretty penny to be helicoptered out. (I know, a helicopter ride sounds fun, but maybe book a hot air balloon ride over all of Phoenix instead 🙂 ) Also, parking is very limited here so I would suggest taking a Lyft or Uber if you come anytime after 6am.
When you make it all the way to the top, the views over all of Scottsdale are absolutely breathtaking.
Gateway Loop Trail is another great hike, and more moderate. It’s about 25 minutes from Old Town and parking is free, and spacious! It’s more of a scenic hike with a few smaller inclines here and there but ends up being a full loop where you finish where you started.
The trail also has restrooms at the start and finish open to the public, and a water fountain you can refill your water bottles at!
